32 YEARS OF SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY

Since we opened our doors, Chef/Founder Lisa Dupar has lit up our Chateau with her southern charm and radiant smile.  Lisa’s award-winning menus coupled with seamless service and style have made her one of our most requested caterers. We are always proud to recommend Lisa Dupar Catering. Photo: Matthew Land

BATTLE OF THE BEATLES

LUXE Magazine recently held their annual “Battle of the Chefs,” an Iron Chef Culinary Competition between the area’s leading architects, builders, interior designers and landscape professionals.  This Beatlemania themed event required each of the participates use “British” ingredients such as HP Sauce, Malt Vinegar and Walkers Shortbread Cookies. Judges Greg Lill, Bradley Dickinson and Kjell Schei determined Team Staple & Fancy with Chef Sadie White was the overall winner.   Net proceeds of the event went to Stacy Lill’s Opportunity for Success Scholarship Program.

ADD A LITTLE SPARKLE TO YOUR HOLIDAY PARTY

Winter party season is weeks away, but that shouldn’t have you shaking in your Louboutins. Just sync up with our Events Director and reserve your holiday party at Chateau Lill. A major renovation at the Chateau last spring doubled our indoor capacity. New Years Eve is available for a very special private party; view our event spaces or  e-mail our Events Director to start planning today. Photo: Matthew Land

“You guys are just totally amazing in every way! Can’t thank you enough for your part in SHW. You blew the guests away as you always do with your service and amazing venue. Love you all so much!” -Carol Riddle

DEVOTED TO HELPING NON-PROFITS SAVE

Philanthropists Greg and Stacy Lill understand the costs involved in creating events, especially nonprofit who are trying to raise funds—without spending them all. Through the end of November, Chateau Lill will reduce the facilities rental by 25% Monday – Thursday. View our event spaces or e-mail events manager to start planning today.

THE GOAT WITH NO NAME

As you may know, we recently adopted a few Cashmere goats at Chateau Lill. They seem very happy, but one still needs a name!  Some of our friends and colleagues have helped narrow the options down to three top picks, and we’d like your help in choosing between:
  1. Socks
  2. Willow
  3. Lilly Goat (Like Billy Goat Gruff, get it?)
One lucky voter will be chosen at random to receive a $100 gift card. Our friends at 425 magazine are helping organize the voting, so head to their instagram to vote, and follow @chateaulill while you’re there!
UPDATE: Voting has closed, and the name chosen—by a wide margin—is Lilly Goat!

“We are feeling blessed and wonderfully fortunate (to have Chateau Lill as a wedding venue). The weather Saturday was perfect … and thanks to (the Event Manager’s) TLC and attention to detail the Chateau and grounds were lovely. I am also thankful we used A Platinum Event (Catering); they did a great job advising us and the food was wonderful.” -Janet L.

DAZZLE YOUR SCALLOPS

Greg and Stacy are addicted to the Caramelized Sea Scallops at Heritage Restaurant and Bar. Chef Brianna Beike adds sugar snap peas, local arugula, wild mushrooms and scallion crema. The perfect wine pairing is Long Shadows’ Julia’s Dazzle Rosé which just happens to be on the wine list and available at a neighboring Tasting Room.
