“As the request for additional meeting space grows in King County, our company is delighted that Greg and Stacy Lill had the foresight to expand Chateau Lill to accommodate this need. For the right-sized conference this is the perfect space.” -Marka Jenkins Waechter, CEO, SHW

ALWAYS WANTING MOORE

This last year was a whirlwind for Greg and Stacy as they traveled from Monaco, to Loreto. As glamorous as the travel sounds, they prefer to stay at their farm adjacent to Chateau Lill. If the cupboard is lean, they walk to Barking Frog at The Willows Lodge where Chef Bobby Moore presides over the kitchen. Rain or shine, a seat near the fireplace is a prime spot to enjoy Gorman Winery’s Ashan single vineyard Chardonnays or Ambassador Wines’ library vintages red wines.

OPPORTUNITY FOR SUCCESS SCHOLARSHIP

Stacy continues to lead the Opportunity for Success Scholarship program she launched in 2008. OFSS empowers capable young women to receive financial assistance for their University education. This year’s annual luncheon, featuring the Jennifer Kiley Morrison scholarship (in memory of our friend, daughter and sister whose radiance and zest for life touch all) raised over $73,000. Since inception a total of 69 full scholarships have allowed successful candidates to realize the gift of education thanks in part to our friends at Baird Private Wealth Management, Oakpointe Development, Holland America Cruise Lines and Talking Rain Beverage Company.

ANNOUNCING CHATEAU LILL

Rumor has it that there has been some hustle and bustle that’s shaking up Woodinville. The once sleepy suburb is now a thriving community with more amenities than anyone could have imagined ten years ago. Fortunately, Charles and Lore Lill had the foresight to purchase a hillside estate in 1980 just as the Washington wine industry was establishing its roots. In honor of the family’s French heritage they have renamed the winery and event space Chateau Lill.
